PMI日本支部女性コミュニティ 第34回 定例会 (2025.9.2) レポート

暑さは残るものの秋の虫の声が響く9月2日に、第34回の定例会を開催しました。

今回の定例会は「セキュリティについて行っていること」と「大阪万博」をテーマに、オンライン形式で実施しました。

まずは「セキュリティについて行っていること」を、会社、プロジェクト、個人での取り組みごとに共有しました。

会社・プロジェクトでの取り組みとしては、

• メール誤送信防止や送信保留機能

• 社外への情報持ち出しの制限、接続先制限

• PCやスマホの監視・管理体制

• 飲み会へのPC持参禁止、会社ロッカーを活用

• 研修とテストによる意識向上

• サーバールームのスマホ持ち込み禁止や、データセンターでのX線検査

などが挙げられました。IT系の会社はもちろんのこと、非ITの会社もクライアント先が求める条件に合わせて対策が進んでいるようでした。また、グローバル企業特有の事情として「英語表記の名前だと識別しづらく、宛先間違いが良く発生する」などの課題も共有されました。

個人での工夫としては、

• 公衆Wi-Fiは使わない

• パスワード管理ツールの利用

• 鍵に大きな鈴をつける

• チャック付きの鞄を使用

• 荷物は一つにまとめる

• スマホには必要以上に情報を入れない

といった、日常的かつ実践的なアイデアが挙げられました。

会社でも個人でも、セキュリティは仕組みと習慣の両輪で守る必要があると感じることができ、改めて自分の周囲での取り組みを確認しようと思いました。

後半は、2025年の大阪・関西万博をテーマに語り合いました。

実際に訪れた方は、

• イタリア館や日本館の見応え

• 建築物を見るだけでも楽しい（チェコ館のガラス張り螺旋階段など）

• インドネシア館がノリノリで楽しい

など、おすすめのパビリオンを紹介してくれました。

また、万博ならではの食の魅力も豊富なようで、アフリカ料理、台湾のルーローハン、イタリアのピザなど、世界各国の料理を楽しんだ話を聞くことができました。まだ訪れていないメンバーからも、「知らない国の料理を食べてみたい」といった感想が挙げられました。さらに、メンバーの中には「5日連続で参加した猛者」がおり、回り方のコツをシェアしてくれました。私もまだ訪れることができていませんが、万博の魅力が伝わり、ぜひ行ってみたいと思いました。

On September 2, while the summer heat was still with us and the sound of autumn insects could be heard, we held our 34th regular meeting. This meeting was held online with two themes: “Security Practices” and the “Osaka Expo 2025.”

We began by sharing what we do for security at the company level, project level, and in our personal lives.

At the company and project level, examples included:

- Functions to prevent email mistakes and to delay sending

- Limits on taking information outside the company and on connection destinations

- Monitoring and control of PCs and smartphones

- No bringing PCs to drinking parties, using company lockers instead

- Training and tests to raise awareness

- No smartphones in server rooms, and X-ray checks at data centers

It was noted that not only IT companies but also non-IT companies are taking steps to meet client requirements. A challenge unique to global companies was also shared, such as “English names are sometimes hard to tell apart, so sending emails to the wrong person often happens.”

At the personal level, practical ideas included:

- Not using public Wi-Fi

- Using password management tools

- Putting a large bell on keys

- Using bags with zippers

- Keeping belongings in one bag

- Not storing more information on smartphones than needed

This discussion showed that security must be protected by both systems and habits. It also encouraged us to review what we do in our own environments.

In the second half, we talked about the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.

Those who had visited shared their recommended pavilions, such as:

- The impressive Italy and Japan Pavilions

- Enjoying architecture (like the glass spiral staircase at the Czech Pavilion)

- The lively and fun Indonesia Pavilion

The food at the Expo was another big topic. Members enjoyed African dishes, Taiwanese Lurou Fan, Italian pizza, and many other foods from around the world.

Even those who had not visited said things like, “I want to try food from countries I don’t know.” One member, who went to the Expo for five days in a row, also shared useful tips on how to look around. I have not visited yet myself, but after hearing these stories, I became very interested and now really want to go.
