街のあちこちでポインセチアが目につく季節となりました。いかがお過ごしでしょうか？女性コミュニティは、12月7日に柳嶋妙見山法性寺（東京都墨田区）にて冬のイベントを開催しました。
今回のテーマは「扉を開こう」です。参加者は、「法華経」「折伏逆化」「慈悲」「智慧」「いろは歌」などが書かれた襖や掛け軸、屏風を鑑賞しました。28本の襖は8年ぶりに特別公開された貴重なものであり、自ら襖を開け、移動しながら人々が想像する世界の不思議へ歩を進めることで人生を振り返り、これから続く未知なる世界に想いを馳せました。そして、作品の制作者である書家の沢村澄子先生とも短い時間ではありますが、交流させていただきました。
その後は東京スカイツリータウンに移動してクリスマスマーケットの雰囲気を味わい、ランチ懇親会で盛り上がりました。メンバーそれぞれの立場で抱えている悩みや、昨今のプロジェクトマネージャーに求められている期待、コミュニティの今後の活動についても活発な議論を行うことができました。
「一つ襖を開ければ一つ世界が開け、開けた途端、その向こうの人と眼が合ったりする。けれど、向こうに広がる未知なる世界はただその一瞬にあるばかりで、すぐに閉じたかと思えば、またどんどん姿を変えてゆく」 という沢村先生の言葉通り、創造的な空間で感性を研ぎ澄まし、未来に想いを巡らす良き冬の体験となりました。

It's the season when poinsettias can be seen all over the city. How are you all doing? The women's community held a winter event at Yanagishima Myokenzan Hoshoji Temple (Sumida-ku, Tokyo) on December 7th.
The theme of this event was "Open the Door." Participants viewed sliding doors, hanging scrolls, and folding screens inscribed with such words as "The Lotus Sutra," "Conversion into the True Truth," "Compassion," "Wisdom," and "The Iroha Song." The 28 sliding doors are precious and were on special display for the first time in eight years. By opening the sliding doors themselves and moving through them, participants were able to step into the wonders of the world that people imagine, reflecting on their lives and thinking about the unknown world that lies ahead. They also had the opportunity to interact, albeit briefly, with calligrapher Sawamura Sumiko, the creator of the works.
Afterwards, we moved to Tokyo Skytree Town to enjoy the atmosphere of the Christmas market, and had a lively lunch party. We had lively discussions about the concerns each member faces in their own position, the expectations of today's project managers, and future activities of the community.
As calligrapher Sawamura says, "When you open a sliding door, a new world opens up, and as soon as you open it, your eyes meet with the person on the other side. However, the unknown world that lies beyond only exists for a moment, and just when you think it has closed, it changes shape again." It was a wonderful winter experience that sharpened our sensibilities in a creative space and allowed us to think about the future.
