2026年8月1日、PMI日本支部 女性コミュニティでは夏季イベントを開催しました。今回は、東京臨海広域防災公園内の「そなエリア東京」を訪問し、防災体験学習ツアー「東京直下72h TOUR」に参加しました。
当日は参加メンバーが有明に集合し、首都直下地震の発生を想定した体験型プログラムを通じて、災害発生直後に必要となる判断や行動について学びました。「東京直下72h TOUR」は、マグニチュード7.3、最大震度7の首都直下地震が発生したという設定のもと、避難生活が始まるまでの72時間を疑似体験できる防災学習ツアーです。参加者はタブレット端末を使いながらクイズに挑戦し、災害時の行動や備えについて実践的に学びます。
国や自治体による支援体制が十分に機能するまでには時間を要するため、発災後の最初の72時間は「自力で生き抜く」ことが重要だと言われています。ツアーでは、被災直後の情報収集、水や食料の確保、避難所での生活など、災害時に直面する様々な場面が再現されており、参加者は一人ひとりが自分事として考えながら学習を進めました。
防災というテーマは個人や家庭だけでなく、企業活動やプロジェクト運営の継続性にも深く関わっています。今回の体験を通じて、「もし今、大規模災害が発生したら何が必要になるのか」「自分や家族、そして周囲の人々を守るためにどのような備えができるか」を改めて考える貴重な機会となりました。

女性コミュニティでは、専門分野の学びだけでなく、日々の生活や社会とのつながりを考える機会も大切にしています。今回の防災体験は、参加者同士の交流を深めるとともに、自身と大切な人を守るための知識と備えを学ぶ有意義な時間となりました。

PMI Japan Chapter Women's Community Summer Event Report
On August 1, 2026, the PMI Japan Chapter Women's Community held its annual summer event. We visited "Sona-area Tokyo" within the Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park and participated in the disaster preparedness educational tour, "Tokyo Direct-Hit 72h TOUR."
The participants gathered in Ariake and engaged in an immersive disaster preparedness experience designed to help individuals understand the decisions and actions required immediately following a major earthquake.
The "Tokyo Metropolitan Earthquake 72-Hour Tour" simulates the aftermath of a magnitude 7.3 earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 7 striking the Tokyo metropolitan area. Using tablet devices, participants answer interactive quizzes while learning practical survival skills and decision-making strategies needed during the critical first 72 hours after a disaster.
The program emphasizes an important reality: following a large-scale disaster, public support systems may take time to become fully operational. As a result, individuals and families must be prepared to survive independently during the first three days, often referred to as the "golden 72 hours." Through realistic scenarios covering emergency response, information gathering, securing food and water, and life in evacuation shelters, participants were encouraged to consider how they would respond in similar circumstances.
The experience also highlighted the broader relevance of disaster preparedness beyond personal and family safety. Business continuity, organizational resilience, and project sustainability all depend on the ability to anticipate risks and prepare for unexpected disruptions. The tour provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on what actions they can take today to protect themselves, their families, and their communities in the event of a major disaster.

The PMI Japan Chapter Women's Community values opportunities not only for professional growth but also for learning that contributes to personal resilience and social impact. This disaster preparedness experience provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge, strengthen connections with fellow community members, and reflect on how they can better prepare for future uncertainties.
